Start at Tiananmen Square — the world's largest public square. Enter the Forbidden City through the Meridian Gate and spend 3 hours exploring the imperial palace complex, Hall of Supreme Harmony, and Palace Museum treasures. D2Great Wall at Mutianyu & Summer Palace▾
Early 7:30 AM departure to MutianyuGreat Wall to beat the crowds. Cable car up, hike between watchtowers for 2-3 hours with breathtaking mountain views. Take the thrilling toboggan slide down! Farm-to-table lunch. Afternoon: Summer Palace — dragon boat across Kunming Lake, stroll the 728-meter Long Corridor painted with 14,000 classical scenes.
